Cocoa is home to the Space Coast Marathon and Half Marathon. The road takes them along the Intracoastal Waterway and past beautiful historic homes. Highway US 1 and I-95 make the commute to Melbourne, KSC, or Orlando a snap. Historic Cocoa Village boasts many fine restaurants, boutiques, and parks/playgrounds. The Historic Cocoa Village Playhouse (formally the Aladdin Theater) is a fully restored venue that opened its doors in 1924. Living in the nearby condos you can walk to the theater, restaurants, sports bars, shops, and events at the Riverfront Park.
