We are retiring to a small town in another state and giving up downtown Denver highrise living. We put our condominium up for sale with a “no fee” realtor and were told it would sell in days! Two months later, after many showings, we still had no offers so we took it off the market and relisted it with Anna, who was recommended to us by a friend. She came and toured our home, gave us some great ideas on pricing and staging the property, and brought her photographer over, who took great pictures, which Anna promptly put up on multiple sites on the internet.
We had showings nearly every day for the first month or two but we still got no offers. We found out that our homeowners association was contemplating a HUGE special assessment and all the realtors had heard about it, so sales in our whole 42-story building dropped off dramatically (and they’re still way down)!
Anna followed up with every realtor who showed our property to get feedback. There were some people interested but the threat of a special assessment scared everyone away. After six months on the market, we conferred with Anna and decided that a short sale was the way to go. Anna contacted our mortgage company, procured all the paperwork needed, worked with us to fill everything out properly, and then submitted it for us. She constantly stayed on top of the process and as soon as the short sale was approved, she set up the closing.
Anna is a very professional and pleasant person. She was always available by phone and email and she constantly touched base with us to keep us abreast of the status of our listing.
